The teaser reveals that the film is a period drama about Maharana Pratap’s ‘wafadar ghoda (loyal horse)’. Azaad marks the debut of Amaan Devgn and Rasha Thadani. Ajay Devgn plays a key role in the film. It is set in the time of the Battle of Haldighati. The video begins with battle scenes and a voice-over stating that Maharana Pratap fought the battle against around 40 thousand men with only the help of nine to ten thousand men. Then comes Ajay Devgn riding on a beautiful black horse. The narrator describes the horse as someone tall as an elephant, who has a slender neck like a peacock and someone quick as lightning. Then enters Aaman Devgn who finds the loyal horse of Maharana Pratap. Rasha Thadani is a princess who holds her mother Raveena Tandon’s charm when on screen.
